Edmunds Honors Its V12 Award Winners

Every year, Edmunds uses a symbol of automotive performance, refinement and rarity — the V12 engine — to honor employees for exemplary work.

And each year, Edmunds CEO Avi Steinlauf hosts a luncheon for the V12 Award recipients and company executives at his Los Angeles home. The backyard event, held amid lemon trees in the California sun, is a 12-year Edmunds tradition that celebrates past and present V12 winners.

On Friday, Steinlauf kicked off the festivities with a short speech, thanking the 30 or so guests for their attendance and recognizing this year's award winners, Denise Ngai, technical lead; Joey Sellers, senior manager, sales strategy; and Joseph Siu, director, advertising product management and strategy.

"The V12 Award is a recognition and celebration of those among us who are the most creative, innovative and hardworking," Steinlauf said. Only a handful of employees win the award each year.

"The V12 luncheon was the perfect opportunity to step out of the office and celebrate all of the hard work and achievements, both past and present," said Siu. "It was energizing to catch up with colleagues."

Edmunds Honors High-Powered Employees

Each V12 winner receives a $1,500 bonus, a jacket with the Edmunds V12 logo and a die-cast model of an Aston Martin V12 Vanquish.

The company has recognized 72 employees since the award's inception. They represent the best of the best, Steinlauf said.

"These people have pushed the boundaries, found connections where they previously didn't exist and constantly reimagine what's possible," he said. "We greatly appreciate their contribution to Edmunds; they are what make us the best place to work!"
